Our training places emphasis on the practical hands-on tailoring and sewing skills needed to run your fashion business profitably.
Our key goal is to Help our students master tailoring, so our trainings are very practical in approach.
Our Sewing class is categorized into 3:
- Basic Sewing Class
- Intermediate Sewing Class
- Advanced Sewing Classes.
BASIC
Sewing Class
After taking the basic course, you should have a mastery of the following
● Form Measurement and Analysis
● Use of sewing machine and maintenance
● How the Fashion Industry works
● Basic sewing tools and supplies
● Fashion terms and Fabrics
● Garment finishing techniques( zippers, Bias, folding, facing, lining, band, elastic)
● Darts and equivalents (Gathers, pleats, tuck, flare)
● Circles: Full, Half and quarter circles
● Pattern Drafting and Freehand method (Bodice, Skirt, Sleeve blocks)
● Garment construction:( kimono, peplum top, Circle skirt, Pleated skirt, Gathered skirt, Pencil dress, Shift dress, knot-tie dress, butterfly dress, wrap skirt
● SLEEVES (cap sleeve, ¾ sleeve, Long and puff sleeves)
● NECKLINES ( Round, V-neck, Boat, U neck, Round neck, Square)
● Pockets
● Kiddies
● Fabric stoning

INTERMEDIATE
Sewing Class
This course is for those who have mastered Basic class and would love to tackle more complicated sewing projects.

ADVANCED
Sewing Class
This course is for master dressmakers; who have covered basic and intermediate courses and are interested in making more complicated styles. Kindly note that you’ll spend on materials and fabrics for this course
After gaining mastery of the advanced course, you should have acquired the needed knowledge and skill to run your fashion business or work professionally in a fashion house.
